Beach-proof, life-proof
Our 2026 lookbook has a page titled Live every moment. It is a nice line — but in the Philippines it has to mean something specific: sea, sun, humidity, and a commute that undoes most hairstyles by lunchtime. Here is what that really asks of extensions.

Made for a climate, not a photo
Extensions are usually judged on the day they are fitted. The harder test comes three weeks later, in a jeepney at 33°C with the humidity above 80 percent. That is the standard we design to: weight distributed across several attachment points rather than concentrated in a few, so nothing pulls when your hair swells in the damp and settles again in the aircon.
It is also why we ask about your week before we ask about your length. Someone who swims four times a week and someone who is in meetings five days a week need the same hair fitted two different ways.
Sun, salt and sea
The lookbook calls this page Freedom. In practice, salt water and chlorine do not loosen a properly fitted weft — they dry out the hair itself, and dry hair is what starts to look like extensions. Rinse with fresh water while you are still at the beach if you can, and dry the attachment points properly rather than letting them sit damp under a bun on the drive home.

Out in the world
The question we get most often is not about length. It is: can I still tie it up? Yes — but only if we know beforehand. Placement is planned around how you actually wear your hair, and a ponytail or a high updo needs the attachment points set lower and further in than a permanent down-style would.
Tell us at the consultation, not after. Moving wefts later means a full re-fit.

Naturally you
The last thing the lookbook gets right: undetectable finishes, personally colour-matched. Extensions that survive the climate but sit two shades off your own hair have solved the wrong problem. We match against your mid-lengths and ends in daylight, and we match texture as well as colour — because in this humidity, texture is what gives a mismatch away first. More on that in our colour-match guide.
The three questions that come up every time
Can I swim with hair extensions?
Yes, with weft extensions. Rinse with fresh water afterwards, dry the attachment points properly and do not leave salt or chlorine sitting in the hair. Salt and chlorine dry out the hair itself rather than loosening the attachment.
Can I wear a ponytail or updo with weft extensions?
Yes, with the right placement. We plan the attachment points around how you actually wear your hair, so tell us at the consultation if ponytails and updos matter to you rather than afterwards.
How do I care for hair extensions at home?
Use a gentle sulfate-free shampoo, detangle from the ends upwards, dry the attachment points fully, and keep heavy oils away from the roots. The Volupropol propolis range is formulated for exactly this and is available at our Makati studio.
